Helping hands are always welcome to join our small team.

The most important requirement we need from you is the ability to show LOVE to another being. By being able to give love to others, you will also open your heart to receive love and this has been the experience from all our past volunteers who have participated with New Dawn and most of them have spent some time in our orphanage in India and have enjoyed sharing unconditional love with our children.

An important note:
Sri Lanka is a country which came to our attention during Tsunami. A 30year old war has just ended. There is so much rehabilitation work to be done and we need everyone’s attention and support.

We need:
Volunteers with medical, councelling experience.

Fund raisers with their own initiative to fund raise and other helpful ideas.

If you have an adventurous spirit with a good heart, you might like to try your hand at helping out. If you have spare time, we at New Dawn would love to hear from you.
 
We want to open orphanages in Sri Lanka with the intention of helping the children to lead a normal lives by overcoming the traumatic time they have endured. Parents are killed on both sides of the fence. Plenty of children are left without parents or who can’t find their parents. Some children have lost body parts and need emotional and physical help.

We want to encourage cultural events whereby we can unite all cultures through music, dance and extended friendship. Cross culture school visits with the permission of proper authorities would help facilitate this.
